The main objective of the Energy Star & GreenHouse Certified Morrison Road build was to create a Net-Zero home with many modern features that still fits within the Muskoka-like setting of Southeast Oakville. It is a transitional style with natural stone banding and cedar shake exterior but with some modern flair like the standing seam metal roof and triple pane aluminum clad windows. Geothermal source heating and cooling was installed to minimize costs to operate and the fossil fuel requirements.
